24 34... Manually unlocking the parking lock (GA8HP50Z)

For various repair work, it is necessary to unlock and lock the parking lock.
Secure the vehicle against rolling away before releasing the parking lock.
In the event of an open circuit, e.g. flat battery or electrical fault, the parking lock must be released manually, otherwise the wheels will be locked and the vehicle cannot be moved.
Raise vehicle.
- Remove the rear UNDERBODY PROTECTION .
- Insert special tool 2 355 850 (3) into the lever (1) and pull.
- Insert special tool 2 355 850 (2) between the lever (1) and limit stop in order to unlock the transmission.
