- Rear silencer
- If the separation point is not marked by a punch mark in the pipe, determine the separation point by means of the pipe length on the new front silencer (1).
- Carry over separation point to faulty front silencer (1) and mark.
- Secure the front silencer (1) and the rear silencer against falling down.
- Cut through exhaust pipe at marked point with a suitable tool.
- Detach the ribbon clamp (1).
- Loosen nut (2).
- Lower and remove front silencer with assistance of a second person.
- Replace the front silencer (1).
Parts : Front silencer
- Fit the new front silencer (1) and connect it with the clamps to the rear silencer and the catalytic converter.
- Replace the (1) ribbon clamp.

- Tighten the ribbon clamp (1).TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Replace the ribbon clamp.tightening torque 26 Nm Ribbon clamp nut M10
Replace the ribbon clamp.tightening torque 55 Nm - Replace nut (2).

Replace nut.tightening torque 19 Nm - Center and tighten clamp (1).TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Clamp With Partial Replacement Of Exhaust System Clamp tightening torque 45 Nm
