12 41 020 Removing and installing/replacing starter motor: Notes

Prerequisite

Ignition is switched off.

Preliminary work

Refer to REMOVING RIGHT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM PANEL
Disconnecting the battery earth lead
Remove the FRONT UNDERBODY PROTECTION
Remove REAR UNDERBODY PROTECTION
Remove the SUPPORT FOR THE UNDERBODY PROTECTION

Follow-up work

Install the support for the underbody protection
Install front and rear underbody protection
Connecting the battery earth lead
Install right luggage compartment trim panel
