When installing the knock sensors, the tightening torque must be observed.
Non-compliance with the tightening torque can lead to malfunction.

Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING RIGHT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM PANEL
- Disconnecting the battery earth lead
- Refer to REMOVING THE DRIVE BELT FOR ALTERNATOR
- Refer to REMOVING THE THROTTLE BODY
- Disconnect the CHARGE AIR LINE FROM THE EXHAUST TURBOCHARGER
- Refer to REMOVING THE ALTERNATOR
Follow-up work
