REP-TAT-P-3221-02 Installing track rod end

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Check

Check the gaiter and the spring circlip for damage.
Result

» Component is cracked or porous.

Measure
- Replace component.

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Keep the connection of the tie rod end to the swivel bearing clean and free from oil and grease.
Insert track rod end (2) into the swivel bearing.
NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Self-locking nuts must be replaced and must not be reused.

Replace nut (1).
Parts : Nut

Tighten the nut (1), if necessary, counter support the Torx socket.

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Track rod end to swivel bearing
M14 Replace self-locking nut.	175 Nm
