REP-TAT-P-3213-01-F30 Remove the electromechanical steering gear

Unlock and disconnect plug connections (1).
Loosen and remove the screws (2).
Carefully remove the electromechanical steering gear towards the front.

Check

Check plug connection for moisture and corrosion.
Check the access line for damage.

Result

» Plug connection is moist or corroded.

The insulation of the line is damaged.

Measure

If the insulation of the access line is damaged: Partially replace the access line.
If the insulation of the access line is not damaged: Replace the contacts or the connector housing.
