17 11 035 Removing and installing/replacing fan cowl with electric fan (B48)

Necessary preliminary work:

Remove the CLEAN AIR PIPE .

Removal:

Unlock and disconnect plugs (1).

Release clamp (2).

Loosen screws (3).

Release lock (4).

Remove fan cowl (5) towards top following the arrow.

Installation note:

Retract the retaining tabs at the module carrier following the arrows.

Installation:

Guide in fan cowl (1) following arrows and install.

Lock (2) must snap audibly into place.

Tighten down screws (3).

Tightening torque, refer to: 17 10 1AZ

Connect connector (5) and lock.

Connector (5) must snap audibly into place.

Secure clamp (4).

Required follow-up work:

Install the CLEAN AIR PIPE .
