11 53 015 Removing and installing or replacing heat management module (B48B)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove ACOUSTIC COVER AT FRONT
Drain COOLANT

Removal:

Unlock and disconnect the connector (1).

Unlock and detach coolant hoses (2 to 4).

Undo bolts in sequence (6 to 1).

Remove heat management module (1).

Installation:

Clean sealing faces (1 and 2).

NOTE: Sealing surfaces (1 and 2) must be clean and free of grease.

Parts: Replace profile seal (1) and O-ring (2).

Lock coolant hoses (2 to 4) and insert on the heat management module.

NOTE: All locks must engage audibly.

Connect the connector (1).

Required reworking:

Add COOLANT
Install ACOUSTIC COVER AT FRONT
