11 31 090 Remove and install/replace chain tensioner piston: Notes

Risk of burning!

Perform all work only on components that have cooled down.

Preliminary work

Refer to REMOVING INTAKE SILENCER HOUSING
Refer to REMOVING THE REAR UNDERBODY PROTECTION

Remove the support for the underbody protection

Remove screws (arrows).

Remove the support (1).

Follow-up work

Install the support for the underbody protection. Tightening torque: 3Nm.
Install underbody protection at rear
