Partially Releasing Acoustic Cover Of Oil Sump

WARNING: Hot surfaces. 
Risk of burning! 

• Perform all work only on components that have cooled down.

CAUTION: Improper routing of the positive battery cable. 
Risk of short circuits! 

• Route the positive battery cable without abrasions and do not trap.

• Remove screws (arrows).
• Remove connecting rod (1).

• Loosen nut (1).
• Feed out positive battery cable (2) and set it aside.
• Loosen nut (3).
• Remove cable (4) and put to one side.

• Unlock and release the clamps (arrows).
• Feed out cable (1) and put to one side.

• Unlock and loosen clamp (1).
• Unlock and loosen clamp (2).
• Feed out cable (3) and put to one side.

• Loosen clamp (1).
• Unlock and loosen clamp (2).
• Release acoustic cover of the oil sump (3) and set it aside.
