Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING FRONT LEFT OR RIGHT DOOR HANDLE COVER .
- Refer to REMOVING THE SWITCH TRIM ON LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL .
- Refer to REMOVING FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL ON LEFT OR RIGHT .

- Use a suitable, sharp cutting tool (3) to cut through the sealing bead (1) of the sound insulation (2) in the corresponding area to be loosened.
- Make sure when cutting through the sealing bead (1)
not to damage the sound insulation (2)
and the cables.
- Observe the position of the sealing bead (1).
- Remove the sound insulation (2) from the cable (3) and put to one side.
