Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
Preliminary work
- Refer to REMOVING THE REAR POWER WINDOW SWITCH .
- Refer to REMOVING THE COVER ON THE REAR LEFT OR RIGHT DOOR HANDLE .
- Refer to REMOVING REAR DOOR TRIM PANEL ON THE LEFT OR RIGHT .
- Refer to REMOVING THE SOUND INSULATION ON THE REAR DOOR .
- Lower the door window glass until the stop (3) can be operated via the recess on the guide rail.
- Disconnect the plug connection (1) on the flat motor (2).
- Lever out the stop (3)
in the direction of the arrow using a screwdriver (4).
- Fully push the door window glass (1)
upwards and secure with adhesive tape.
- Disconnect plug connection (1).
- Loosen the nut (2) and remove the power window (3).
