Install charge air line

Make sure that gasket (1) is installed correctly on throttle body.

Make sure that gasket (1) is installed correctly on charge air duct (2) .
Check gasket (1) for damage.

Lock clamp (1) .
Attach charge air duct (2) to exhaust turbocharger.

Tighten down screws (2) .

TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

Charge air duct to throttle body
M6x30	Tightening torque	8 Nm

Replace the sealing ring (1) on the throttle valve.

Replacing the damaged seal

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Use of sharp or pointy tools for installation or removal is prohibited.
Remove damaged seal.
Clean the gasket groove (1) with a dry cloth.
The gasket groove (1) must be clean.

Replace gasket.

Install the seal dry without lubricant or mounting agent.
NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Incorrect assembly is possible. Ensure correct installation position.

Thread in seal and install.
Make sure that the seal is installed correctly in the gasket groove (1).
Make sure that the sealing lip (2) is directed to the inside as shown.
Insert and Install charge air line (5).
Lock the clamp (4) on the exhaust turbocharger. Clamp (4) must engage audibly.

Tighten screws (arrows).

TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

Charge air line to throttle body
M6	tightening torque	8 Nm

Connect and lock connector (3) on the charge-air temperature sensor.
Connect and lock connector (1) on the boost pressure sensor.
All connectors must audibly engage.
Secure clamps (2).
