Tightening the VANOS central valve of the exhaust camshaft adjuster

To tighten VANOS central valve (1), use reversible ratchet (2) from special tool 0 496 855 with special tool 2 450 487 .

TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

VANOS central valve to camshaft
M21/M22	1. Joining torque	10 Nm
	2. Joining torque	30 Nm
	3. Joining torque	50 Nm
	4. Angle of rotation	35°
