51 44 150 Replacing trim for headliner, front (2' Series convertible models)

Necessary preliminary work: 

• If necessary, open soft top
• Refer to REMOVING THE ROOF FUNCTION CENTER .
• Refer to REMOVING BOTH VANITY MIRROR LIGHTS .
• Refer to REMOVING BOTH SUN VISORS .
• Refer to REMOVING TRIM PANEL FOR ROOF PILLAR  (A-pillar) left/right.

Removal: 

Let down edge protection (1) on top left and right.

Release the underlying screw (2) on the trim (3).

Release screw (1).

Feed out trim (2) sideways on the edge protection (3) and remove from rear.

Installation:

Insert trim (2) and ensure correct fit on the edge protection (3).

Tighten screw (1).

Let down edge protection (1) on top left and right.

Tighten screw (2) beneath it.
