65 77 016 Removing and installing/replacing airbag control unit (X6 2015-2019)

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- DISCONNECTING BATTERY NEGATIVE LEAD and cover
- Remove COMPLETE CENTER CONSOLE .
- Remove ventilation duct of rear passenger compartment
Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.
Release screw (2).
Tightening torque 65 77 1AZ .
Remove control unit (3) in direction of arrow.
Replacement:
Carry out PROGRAMMING/ENCODING .
