13 71 195 Removing right clean air pipe (N63) (X6 xDrive 50i)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove CHARGE AIR HOSE  on right.

Removal: 

Release screws (1).

Unlock and detach engine vent line (2).

Disconnect clean air pipe (3) from exhaust turbocharger and remove.

Preparation for installation: 

Replace the damaged clean air pipe (1).

Part:  Clean air pipe

Replace clean air pipe (1) with missing  collar support sleeve (2).

Part:  Clean air pipe

Install undamaged clean air pipe (2) with fitted collar support sleeve (1) again.

Installation: 

Replace sealing ring on exhaust turbocharger.

Part:  Sealing ring

Thread in clean air pipe (3) on exhaust turbocharger and install.

Tighten down screws (1).

Tightening torque 13 71 1AZ .

Connect and lock engine vent pipe (2).

Engine vent pipe (2) should be engaged audibly.

Required follow-up work: 

• Remove CHARGE AIR HOSE  on right.
