11 13 020 Removing and installing/replacing lower oil sump section (N63) (X6 xDrive 50i)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- RELEASING OIL DRAIN PLUG and drain engine oil.
- Remove underbody protection. Refer to 51 47 490 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING UNDERBODY PROTECTION (FRONT) REP-REP-RAF1651-5147490 - V.2 (X6 2015-2019) and 51 47 491 REMOVING REFITTING/REPLACING REAR ENGINE UNDERCOVER REP-REP-RAF1651-5147491 - V.2 (X6 XDRIVE 35I, X6 SDRIVE 35I, X6 XDRIVE 50I) .
Unlock plug connection (1) on oil level sensor and disconnect.
Release bolts along line (2).
Tightening torque 11 13 2AZ .
Remove lower oil sump section.
Installation note:
Clean sealing surfaces.
Replace gasket.
Replace screws.
When replacing oil sump bottom section:
Convert oil level sensor.
Replace sealing ring.
