18 40 010 Removing and installing/replacing left exhaust manifold (N63) (X6 xDrive 50i)

WARNING: Risk of burning!
Only perform this repair work on an engine that has cooled down.

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 11 65 6AZ .

Remove heat shield (2).

Release nuts 1 to 8.

Remove exhaust manifold, bank 2.

Installation note:

Replace gasket.

Installation note:

Replace gasket (1) for bank 2.

Check locating apparatus on exhaust manifold.

Tighten all nuts in sequence (1 to 8).

Tightening torque: 11 62 1AZ .

Assemble engine.
