51 47 161 Removing and installing/replacing right luggage compartment wheel arch panel (X6 2015-2019)

Special tools required: 

• 00 9 325 

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove RIGHT STORAGE COMPARTMENT .
• Remove TRIM FROM C-PILLAR AT BOTTOM RIGHT .

Removal: 

Remove cover (1) using special tool 00 9 325.

Release clamps (1).

Disconnect plug connection on charging socket (2).

Feed out luggage compartment wheel arch panel (3) in inwards direction.

Installation: 

Replacement: 

Remove charging socket (1).

Equipment specification with storage compartment package: 

Remove multifunction hook (2).

Remove tensioning strap (3).

Saw out openings with an oscillating saw and a straight blade on the molding.

Feed in luggage compartment wheel arch panel (3).

Connect plug connection to power socket (2).

Mount clips (1).

Install cover (1).

Required follow-up work: 

• Install STORAGE COMPARTMENT AT RIGHT .
• Install TRIM ONTO C-PILLAR AT BOTTOM RIGHT .
