51 47 151 Removing and installing/replacing left luggage compartment wheel arch trim (X6 2015-2019)

Special tools required: 

• 00 9 325 

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove TRIM FROM C-PILLAR AT BOTTOM LEFT .
• Remove FLAP IN LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM PANEL ON LEFT 

Removal: 

Remove cover (1) using special tool 00 9 325.

Release clamps (1).

Feed out luggage compartment wheel arch panel (2).

Installation: 

If replacing with storage compartment package equipment specification: 

Remove multifunction hook (1).

Remove tensioning strap (2).

Saw out openings with an oscillating saw and a straight blade on the molding.

Feed in luggage compartment wheel arch panel (2).

Mount clips (1).

Install cover (1).

Required follow-up work: 

• Install TRIM ONTO C-PILLAR AT BOTTOM LEFT .
• Install FLAP IN LEFT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM PANEL .
