51 43 259 Removing and installing/replacing trim panel for rear roof pillar (D-pillar), left or right 

Special tools required: 

• 00 9 325 

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove C-PILLAR TRIM AT BOTTOM  left/right

Removal: 

Release expansion rivet (1).

Detach trim panel (2) using special tool 00 9 325 from clamps (3).

Carefully remove trim panel (2) to avoid damaging the headlining.

Feed out seat belt (4).

Installation:

Feed in seat belt (4).

Clip trim panel (2) into clips (3).

Mount expanding rivet (1).

Required follow-up work: 

• Install TRIM FOR C-PILLAR AT BOTTOM  left/right
