Removing and installing/replacing top left steering box cover (X6 2015-2019)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove BOTTOM STEERING BOX COVER .
Release screws (1, 2).
Tightening torque 51 75 1AZ .
Release expanding rivet (4) and remove cover (3).
Installation note:
Replace damaged expanding rivets (4).
Make sure cover is correctly positioned.
Make sure screws are installed in correct positions.
