Removing and refitting/replacing power window switch trim (X6 2015-2019)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove front DOOR TRIM PANEL .

Release screws (1).

Unclip power window switch trim (2) from clamps (3) in direction of arrow.

Installation note: 

Clips (1) must not be missing or damaged.

Replacement: 

Swap over power window switch (2). Refer to 61 31 117 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING POWER WINDOW SWITCH (DRIVER'S SIDE) REP-REP-RAF1561-6131117 - V.4 (X6 2015-2019) and 61 31 118 REMOVING AND INSTALLING/REPLACING POWER WINDOW SWITCH (FRONT PASSENGER SIDE) REP-REP-RAF1561-6131118 - V.3 (X6 2015-2019) .

Swap over BOOT/TAILGATE RELEASE SWITCH (3) .
