51 32 170 Removing and installing/replacing door window glass, front left or right (X6 2015-2019)
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove SOUND INSULATION ON FRONT DOOR .
- Remove INNER WEATHER STRIP .
Open door window glass (1) down to distance (A)
NOTE:
Open door window until the sliding member of the door window glass holder is level with the slot of the window regulator.
A = approx. 95 mm
A = approx. 95 mm
IMPORTANT:
Danger of injury by trapping!
Disconnect plug connection (1) on power window motor.
Disconnect plug connection (1) on power window motor.
Carefully press latch mechanism (2) with screwdriver (3) rearwards and slide door window glass upwards.
Installation note:
Latch mechanism (2) must be correctly clipped in.
Carry out function check on power window regulator and anti-trap mechanism.
If necessary, NORMALIZE power window unit.
Turn door window glass and lift out rearwards/top.
Installation note:
Side window glass does not need to be adjusted.
