51 31 030 Removing and installing/replacing gutter strip on windscreen (from production date 08/2016) (X6 2015-2019)
Unclip the gutter strip (1) upward from the clamps (2) beginning with the roof.
Feed gutter strip (1) out of the grommet (3).
Installation note:
Replace faulty clamps (2).
Feed the gutter strip (1) correctly into the grommet (3).
First, align gutter strip (1) with the roof, then clip it in.
CAUTION:
Replace gutter strip (1) after each dismantling.
Exception: New gutter strips (1) may only be removed once for correcting the position.
