Removing and installing/replacing trim panel for luggage compartment floor (X6 M)

Removal: 

Push retaining spring (1) to end of gas pressure spring.

Remove gas pressure spring from ball head.

Open covers (1) remove concealed screws.

Remove luggage compartment floor (2) towards rear.

Installation: 

Replacement: 

Remount HANDLE ONTO TRIM PANEL FOR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR .

Release screws (1).

Remount hinge (2).

Release screws (1).

Remount mounting plate (2).

Install luggage compartment floor (2).

Tighten screws and close covers (1).

Install retaining spring (1) correctly.

Latch gas pressure spring into ball head.
