Removing and installing/replacing rear (inside) left or right door sill cover strip (X6 M)

Special tools required:

Removal:

Detach edge protection (1) in area of entrance cover strip (2).

Using special tool 00 9 325, detach door sill cover strip (2) from clamp (3) and clips (4) towards the top and remove it.

NOTE: If necessary, replace faulty clamps (3).

If necessary, release clamps (4) from vehicle.

Installation:

NOTE: tabs (1) must not be damaged or missing.

If necessary, replace missing or faulty clamps (2) on door sill cover strip (3).

Fit door sill cover strip (3) with preinstalled clips (2).

Clip in door sill cover strip (2) at clamp (3) and clips (4).

Attach edge protection (1) at door sill cover strip (2).
