General information on breaking in new brake discs/brake pads (X6 M)
IMPORTANT:
After completing work:
- Perform function check on brake test stand, to make sure that the brake system complies with the legal regulations.
- Carry out test braking while driving at low speed; the effectiveness of the brakes may be reduced during the initial braking operations.
- Excessive forced and continuous braking may not be used for faster bedding in of the brakes.
- Advise the customer not to perform any wilful drastic breaking in the first 200 km after brake replacement.
- Attach mirror tag to inside mirror.
