Removing and installing or replacing flat motor for front left or right power window regulator (X6 M)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove SOUND INSULATION IN FRONT DOOR .
• Remove FRONT SECTION OF POWER WINDOW UNIT .

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 51 33 1AZ .

Remove flat motor (2) from power window regulator.

Installation note: 

Retaining pins (3) must not be released!

Make sure drive shaft (2) is correctly seated in mounting (1) at power windows (3).

After installation: 

An initialization must be carried out in order to activate anti-trap mechanism.

Observe INFORMATION  on initializing power window regulator.
