Removing and installing/replacing additional brake light (X6 M)

Necessary preliminary work: 

• Remove TRIM FOR TOP REAR WINDOW FRAME .

When working on trim panel components, make sure that the sensitive surfaces are not scratched or damaged.

Removal: 

Unlock and disconnect the connector (1).

Unlock both slides (2) in direction of arrow and remove additional brake light (3).

Installation: 

Insert additional brake light (3) and lock with both slides (2).

Connect the connector (1).

Installation note: 

Make sure slides (2) are locked correctly.

Required follow-up work: 

• Mount TRIM FOR TOP REAR WINDOW FRAME .
