11 13 020 Removing and installing/replacing lower oil sump section (N63)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Release OIL DRAIN PLUG  and drain engine oil.
• Remove underbody protection. See REMOVING UNDERBODY PROTECTION (FRONT) and REMOVING REAR ENGINE UNDERCOVER .

Unlock plug connection (1) on oil level sensor and disconnect.

Release bolts along line (2).

Tightening torque 11 13 2AZ .

Remove lower oil sump section.

Installation note: 

Clean sealing surfaces.

Replace gasket.

Replace screws.

When replacing oil sump bottom section:

Convert oil level sensor.

Replace sealing ring.
