11 78 510 Replacing the control sensor (PHEV)

Special tools required: 

WARNING: High-voltage system - danger to life
WARNING: Risk of burning! 
Work should only be carried out on an exhaust system that has cooled down.

Release control sensor (1) with special tool 11 7 030.

Installation: 

Installation note: 

The threads of new control sensors are already coated with NEVER-SEEZ COMPOUND 4.3 .

If an control sensor is used again, only the screw thread may have a thin and uniform coating of NEVER-SEEZ compound applied to it.

Sensor ceramics not  cleaned and not  coated with lubricant.

Tighten control sensor (1) with special tool 11 7 030.

Tightening torque 11 78 1AZ .
