51 13 116 Removing and fitting (replacing) cowl panel cover

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove BOTH WINDSCREEN WIPER ARMS .
• Remove both microfilter housing covers. See REMOVING LEFT MICROFILTER HOUSING COVER and REMOVING RIGHT MICROFILTER HOUSING COVER .

Release clips (1).

Feed out cover (2) towards top.

Installation note: 

Replace faulty clips (1) and associated grommets in body.

Installation note: 

Make sure grommets (1) are correctly seated on wiper pivots.

Grommets (1) for wiper pivots must not be damaged.
