51 34 171 Replacing rear left or right door window

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Open door window (1) until the sliding member of the door window glass holder is level with the slot of the window regulator.

A = approx. 100 mm

IMPORTANT: Danger of injury by trapping!

Disconnect plug connection (1) at power window motor (2).

Carefully press latch mechanism (3) with screwdriver (4) rearwards and feed out door window glass upwards.

Installation note:

The latch mechanism (3) must be latched correctly.

Carry out function check on power window regulator and anti-trap mechanism.

If necessary, NORMALIZE power window unit.

Remove door window glass (1) towards top.
