52 30 000 Removing and installing complete 3rd row of seats
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove LASHING RAIL IN LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR
- Remove TRIM PANEL FOR BOTTOM OF LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT
Unclip cover (1) on the left and right in direction of arrow.
Installation note:
Replace faulty cover.
Release screws (1).
Tightening torque 52 30 01AZ .
Access to front screw (2) covered by trim (1).
Unclip trim (1) towards top.
Release screws (2) and (3).
Tightening torque 52 30 01AZ .
Fold the backrest towards the front.
Release screws (1).
Tightening torque 52 30 01AZ .
Unlock PLUG CONNECTION (1) and disconnect.
IMPORTANT:
Risk of damage!
Protect side sill and door sill area with protective covers.
Lift rear seat out of the vehicle with the help of a second person.
