51 71 470 Removing and installing/replacing cover on front left or right wheel arch
Special tools required:
NOTE:
The operation is described on the left side; proceed in the same way for the right side.
Release blind rivets (1).
Unfasten screws (2).
Unclip cover (3) outwards.
Installation note:
Make sure cover (3) is correctly seated on underbody protection and frame side member.
Installation note:
Apply blind rivets with special tool 00 2 230 . Latch mechanisms (1) on cover (2) must not be damaged.
