51 71 362 Removing and installing/replacing bottom tailgate sealing

Release gasket (1) from latch mechanisms (2) in marked areas.

Installation note: 

Latch mechanisms (2) must not be damaged.

Release clips (2).

Remove gasket (1).

Installation note: 

Replace faulty clips (2).

Release and clips (2) remaining on tailgate before installation and secure to gasket (1).

Distance of clips (2) to each other is derived from the hole pattern for the tailgate.
