65 12 220 Remove and install (replace) the satellite radio (SDARS), (US version from 09/2009 only)

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove CAR INFORMATION COMPUTER (CIC)
For equipment specification with head unit:
Remove headunit. See REMOVING HEADUNIT BASIS or REMOVING HU-H .

When replacing, please observe:

Note SID number (1) of the removed device.

NOTE: The SID number (1) can be found on the label of the housing. Location may be different, depending on the equipment manufacturer.

Input the enabling code (obtainable via BMW).
