Action in service

The following applies for B38:

• If the supply voltage is missing, continue troubleshooting in the PDM (KL15N)
• Check wiring harness/connectors between DME and VANOS solenoid valve
• Replace the VANOS solenoid valve

Following applies to all other versions:

Check wires and plug connections between the following components:

• Digital Motor Electronics.

• VANOS solenoid valve, inlet

Replace VANOS solenoid valve, inlet.
