51 47... Removing and installing/replacing battery cover

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Open the luggage compartment floor trim panel

Removal: 

Release screws (1).

Remove expanding rivet.

Lift off battery cover (2).

Installation: 

Install battery cover (2).

Tighten down screws (1).

Tightening torque 51 47 17AZ .

Install expanding rivet.

Required follow-up work: 

• Close the luggage compartment floor trim panel
