51 24 110 Removing and installing/replacing lock for tailgate upper section

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.

Disconnect Bowden cable (2).

Slacken screws (3) from outside.

Tightening torque 51 24 1AZ .

Remove lock.

Installation note:

Make sure the Bowden cable (2) is fitted correctly.

Replacement:

Remount Bowden cable (1).
