72 11 096 Removing and installing/replacing left or right rear lower strap (comfort seat)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Only for left lower strap: 

  Remove LEFT SEAT COVER

• Only for right lower strap: 

  Partially remove RIGHT SEAT COVER

Lower strap, left: 

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Lower strap, left: 

Release screw (1).

Tightening torque 72 11 27AZ .

Remove lower strap fitting (2).

Installation note: 

Lower strap is encoded against incorrect assembly (2).

Lower strap fitting, right: 

Slightly raise seat cover with upholstery (1).

Unfasten screws (2).

Release cover (3) at clip (4) and remove.

Lower strap fitting, right: 

Unfasten plug connection (1) and disconnect.

Lower strap fitting, right: 

Release screw (1).

Tightening torque 72 11 27AZ .

Remove lower strap fitting (2).

Installation note: 

Lower strap is encoded against incorrect assembly (2).
