Removing and installing/replacing bottom left or right steering box cover (X5 M)
IMPORTANT:
Observe SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
for raising the vehicle.
Undo screws (1) for front engine undercover.
Release screws (2) and expanding rivets (4).
Tightening torque 51 75 1AZ .
Remove cover (3).
Installation note:
Replace damaged expanding rivet.
Make sure cover is correctly positioned.
