Removing and installing/replacing weather strip on inner front door (X5 M)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL .

Lever out cover (1) at rear slightly.

Start at rear with removal of weather strip (2).

Pull off weather strip (1) towards top.

Installation note: 

Replace faulty clamps (3).

Note that the first clamp differs from the others (3).

Insert weather strip (1) below cover (2) at front.

Installation note: 

If necessary, moisten weather strip (1) prior to installation with APPROVED LUBRICANT .

Start with installation at front.
