51 41 019 Removing and installing/replacing door handle on front left or right door trim panel (front passenger side only)

Special tools required: 

• 00 9 317

When working with trim panels, be sure that visible surfaces are not damaged or scratched (e.g. with sharp-edged tools).

Necessary preliminary work: 

• Remove FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL 

Release screws (3) and (4).

Release locking hooks at top and bottom mandrels of handle (2).

Feed handle outward out of door trim panel (1).

Installation note: 

Locking hooks (1) on handle (2) must not be damaged or missing.

Replacement 

• Modify retaining clips (3) of handle cover
