51 21... Replacing inside door opener on left or right front door

When working on trim panel components, make sure that visible surfaces are not scratched or damaged (e.g. by sharp-edged tools).

Necessary preliminary tasks:

NOTE: The graphic shows the left door trim panel.

If necessary, unclip and remove tweeter (4).

Release round weldings (1) with a Ø 12 mm drill.

Release long welding (2) with a box cutter.

Lever out inside door opener housing on door trim panel (3) and set down.

Installation note:

Fold long retaining clip (2) over inside housing tab of the door opener and press tight.

Secure door handle to door trim panel (3) by pressing down round retaining clips (1).

Reinstall tweeter (4).
