66 53 120 Removing and installing/replacing front camera

Special tools required:

00 9 340

Necessary preliminary work:

Remove FRONT BUMPER PANEL

IMPORTANT: Risk of damage!
Diaphragm (1) must not come into contact with latch mechanism (2) during removal and installation.
Diaphragm (1) must not come into contact with grease (e.g. contact with skin).

If necessary, unlock and disconnect plug connection for front camera.

Insert special tool 00 9 340 between front camera (1) and latch mechanism thus protecting diaphragm.

Unlock latch mechanisms and remove front camera (1).

Installation note:

Protect diaphragm with special tool 00 9 340 .

Make sure latch mechanisms are correctly fitted.

Replacement:
