RSE control module: Rear Seat Entertainment

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2013 BMW X5, 2012 BMW X5, and 2011 BMW X5. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The control module for the rear seat entertainment system (= RSE control module) is activated via the K-CAN.

The images shown in the rear display are all created in the RSE control module. All image information is transferred across the LVDS data line from the RSE control module to the rear display.

The RSE control module can be switched on as of terminal 30g ON.

After terminal R Off, the RSE control module can be switched on within the after-run time (approx. 30 minutes).
