Bluetooth aerial

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2013 BMW X5, 2012 BMW X5, and 2011 BMW X5. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Among other things, there is a Bluetooth module installed in the Combox. The Bluetooth module is the interface between the Combox and the mobile phone and the Bluetooth handset. The Bluetooth aerial is connected with the Bluetooth module.

Since 03/2010 the previously installed Bluetooth aerial has been gradually replaced with a new Bluetooth aerial on all the series. The following graphic illustrates the Bluetooth aerial installed up to 03/2010.
